The value for money at Monte Beato was really good, with comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. The rural countryside location surrounded by olive and fruit trees was a perfect getaway. The staff were cute and made us feel right at home. Our highlight was the friendly dog who joined us on a walk around the farm.

The location of the hotel is described as magical, situated on an olive farm with a converted barn for accommodations. Guests are able to enjoy their own cooking with fully-equipped facilities, including a personal shelf in the fridge. the breakfast is highly praised and worth the money, featuring homemade honey and oranges. the room conditions and comfort are also mentioned positively, with a special request for a romantic surprise for an anniversary being successfully fulfilled.
The lack of sound-absorbing elements like carpets or drapes in the room could be a drawback, as one guest reported being kept awake by noisy neighbors.

I recently stayed at Monte Beato in a quiet countryside location for a few days with my friends. The lady who welcomed us was friendly and helpful. The villa, surrounded by olive and almond trees, was lovely and peaceful. The new, clean rooms and comfortable common area made our stay enjoyable. The hotel provided a well-equipped kitchen and coffee/tea facilities, which were convenient for our group. The breakfast was excellent, and the hostess's warmth and friendliness made it one of the best stops on our cycling trip in Portugal. Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the Algarve and Beja. the warm welcome from the owners made us feel right at home. the accommodations were well-decorated and modern, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. the owner went above and beyond by offering us the use of his car and even arranging for a friend to lead us to a great restaurant in town.
There were a few minor issues during our stay, such as a falling bathroom door handle and lukewarm water in the shower. the air conditioning in the room was centrally controlled, making it difficult to adjust the temperature to our preference.

Fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine: I felt like a master chef in the well-stocked kitchen, whipping up delicious meals as if I were on my own cooking show.
Faro Airport is quite far: Distance can be daunting for some.
